My time has been occupied lately by a couple of things:
1) I finally finished Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco. Great book, but oh so wordy and oh so complex at times. There are several amazingly hilarious and deliciously clever jokes made which are easy to miss through-out the first half of the book. It tends to get a bit dull somewhere around the middle of the second half, and then gets interesting in the last part.
The end was ... kinda satisfying, but I guess this world of Hollywood tends to make me expect a happier more triumphant ending.
2) I discovered an NBC show called 30 Rock, which is quite new and I've been downloading via BitTorrent. It's up to it's 5th episode so far and I'm finding it quite funny. And, y'know, Tina Fey is hot
-- what with the glasses and all.
3) I've also been catching up with Arrested Development. I bought the full series when I was in China (total piracy
but everything there was like that). I still haven't watched the 3rd season, so I'm rewatching the end of the 2nd season and going from there. It's hilarious! If you know me, ask to borrow it.
On the lookout for cool hair ideas. Link me to some photos of styles if you find any. Anything crazy is okay, my hair is getting long enough to handle the more outlandish stuff.
