Here's the usual blog entry that everyone's expected to do.
Essentially, I had a great time and met loads of interesting peoples. I was terribly hungover from Saturday night, though, which meant I was not very cheerful at the BBQ. But, I did have a good time, honest.
Played Scrabble on Saturday night, didn't come last.
Played Scrabble on Sunday night, didn't come last.
Played Scrabble on Monday afternoon, came last.
Not a positive progression.
Those who feel like having someone easy to beat, I'm sometimes on the Internet Scrabble under the handle 'lexiphanic'.

Now I have to deal with the downside of all of this: post-fun depression!

I imagine attending the BBQ in the heat and bright sun with a hangover might have made it hard to look excited and happy about being there!
