Today was "wear your pajamas to work" day at my office. You might think I was all over that, since I am all about comfort, but I wasn't. First of all, I don't actually own any pajamas, so this would have necessitated going out and buying some, which is not in my budget. Second of all, I do like the people I work with, but I am not comfortable getting that sloppy around them. At least not all of them. I did have a pajama party/pig out session with my boss in a hotel room in Seattle once, but that's a totally different story. If you know me (which I guess no one here really does--but use your imagination), you know I don't have to be told twice to dress down. I'd wear jeans and tees every day if I could. But pajamas? Am I crazy, or is that totally inappropriate and just plain weird? It's like we're in middle school or something. I wore jeans instead and helped myself to the milk and cookies anyway. Yes, they really did have milk and cookies.
