I have had bouts of indecisions for last several months. These bouts are not good. I had not decided to where I was going for a vacation in December this year and what type of digital camera do I want to buy. All of sudden, on a Friday night, I made my decisions last night. Alcohol loosens my indecision. It makes decision final. Most of these decision are well-reasoned and have taken several months of thinking but my rampant indecision has prevented me from acting on my thoughts. A little a bit of liquid courage removes my decisions and helps make my decision final.
By the way, I am going to Florida and will be visit Tampa, Miami, Key West, Daytona Beach, Everglades, Puenta Gorda, Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, and whole host of other places. I will be only American on this trip. The company that runs this tour is European outfit.
However, it gives me three advantages:
(1) I get to see Florida without humdity
(2) I don't spend $3,000 for trip to Hawaii during at the same time.
(3) I save 4.5 days of vacations by taking vacation on that time. This buys me a trip to 16 day trip to Mardi Gras or go visit Mayan Ruins in Mexico.

I don't think you'll see much in Punta Gorda, they got hit hardest by Hurricane Charley. But you can let me know if you want to hang out while you're in Ft. Lauderdale.
