I have started to use weblogs to get fresh commentaries and perspectives on the major hard-hitting issues of this day. I can hear the voices of dissent from both the left or the right without relying on traditional media sources by using weblogs. I can obtain links to articles that are not normally found in the LA Times, OC Register, Wall Street Journal, or NY Times. The traditional media sources usually not publish commentaries or articles from progressive sources. Weblogs gives yo these links. You should use weblogs as a supplement to your normal newspaper or regular TV news broadcast.

i agree .. i actually get most of my current events news from the message boards here .. as odd as it sounds there are usually really good links that lead to other really good links and so on .. the internet is deffinatly a much better way to accumulate information rather than being told what to think about what issue
