It's probably one of those things that it best to leave to take it's own natural course. Sounds like she's less present from what you say anyway, so that fact alone would allow for more opportunity to hang out together without crossing any lines.

going back to work has been nothing short of torture since coming back from London. Even though technically I was working over there it amounted to 2 days of chatting with witty english people and about 5 days of beautiful sunny weather and exploring the city every day.

Piaf is exceptional and I like I think most Stateside was introduced to her in that scene from Saving Private Ryan and later her sample in DJ Cut Killer's mix from La Haine.

Stereolab and Gainsbourg I have heard one or two tracks of but I will try to seek out more and these other artists.
