had a good weekend. on friday i went to see a local Brooklyn band called Lily and the Parlour Tricks that my friend is considering recording. He works as an engineer/producer at pretty famous recording studio here in the BK. I loved the band because I thought their live sound was so exciting. They are combination of 50's doo wop with 3 female singers doing harmonies with a retro rock edge. My friend said that they've only been together for a short time so I can see them only getting better in the next year or so.



Today I finally got around to watching the season 1 finale of Game of Thrones. What an amazing show that is. God bless HBO. If it werent for their programming I might not watch TV at all.
