so things are going pretty well musically. the band is making good progress with the songs we are working on. we should be ready to start recording a demo soon to shop around and start playing out in NY. everybody is into it and our singer is pretty amazing.

i was inspired to buy a new electric guitar, a fender telecaster. i already have a gibson ES-135 hollowbody which i've been very pleased with for several years, but i wanted another guitar to add to my arsenal.

i've also been on a neil young kick lately. i decided to learn his song "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere".
