So what happened was this. I've been meditating for some time, on and off. I've read several books on different practices etc. Lately I've been kind of concentrating a little bit more on awareness and using mandalas (to tap into the subliminal mind). I've also been trying to develop the 3rd eye.

So anyway, I teach english at Berlitz and one of my students is a Buddhist priest. We get into discussions about philosophy and buddhism and this last time I asked him what he thought "spiritual energy" was. he started talking and then as i was listening to him i could all of a sudden see a glow around his head and upper body extending out about 3 inches from him. i couldn't really make out a color really but it was clear as day, and familiar, like i'd being seeing it all along but never really noticed. I wanted to say something to him but i didnt, i was just kinda stunned.

anyone else seen this before?
