i live with a couple. my male roommate and i have a mutual friend that we don't see too often because he cant stand my roommate's girlfriend. since i've moved in with them 2 years ago he's been over to the apartment maybe 2 or 3 times. but he's convinced that she is cheating on my roommate and said that as a former cheater himself he would bet " a thousand dollars on it".

i wouldn't bet that much money on it but she has been showing some classic 'cheating signs'. like regularly working late and even sleeping over at a 'female co-worker's' place because she got into a 'fight with her bf ' .

stuff like that.

so anyway, the mutual friend is obsessed with finding out for sure. i guess he figures that if the gf is out of the picture we can all hang out like we used to and have a great time.

last night he decided to come over in an attempt to get him to talk about over drinks. of course the gf tried to tag along but eventually she got tired and went home. but nothing really came of it because the mutual friend wimped out and never brought it up. for probably the same reason that i haven't brought it up. it's an uncomfortable topic.

but at least the 3 of us got to hang out alone for the first time in like forever. so that's good.
