going back to work has been nothing short of torture since coming back from London. Even though technically I was working over there it amounted to 2 days of chatting with witty english people and about 5 days of beautiful sunny weather and exploring the city every day.

i could see myself living over there pretty easily although i realize that i got extremely lucky with the weather.

So, it sounds like you had a great time. Any chance of you working abroad with your job? The tough part is getting someone to pay is pounds the equivalent of what you're earning in dollars and US wages do not go far at all there.

Piaf is exceptional and I like I think most Stateside was introduced to her in that scene from Saving Private Ryan and later her sample in DJ Cut Killer's mix from La Haine.

Stereolab and Gainsbourg I have heard one or two tracks of but I will try to seek out more and these other artists.
