i just found out that my job wants me to go to London for a business trip. one of the guys that was supposed to go got fired and now they want me to go instead. i'm pretty psyched about it. a few of my coworkers were surprised that i was picked because i'm the newest person at the company but they said it was because i speak french and there could potentially be some french people at the photo trade show where we are supposed to schmooze and do our thing. i think the fact that i worked for Getty Images previously also helped since they are the top player in the industry.
so now i have to find out what's going on London between the 5th and 9th of May. I'd like to see some cool bands or something. A footie game would be cool too but i think the calendar is pretty empty that week.

Is always good to get a real overview on all that is going on. You can pick them up at any news stand when you're there. Get a mini London A-Z map if you're going to be doing a lot of walking around and sightseeing.
