i've been on a bit of a Pink Floyd kick lately. I was never much of a Dark Side o' the Moon fan but I always though some of their earlier stuff was really cool. Recently I saw that this guy on Youtube (who i subscribe to cause he worships Johnny Marr and would always show how to play Smith songs in his clips) had recorded his own version of Lucifer Sam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBrWN3mSOJk and that blew me away because here he is recording all the parts himself in his bedroom studio and it sounds just as good as the original. so that kind of fired me up and made me want to do more of my solo stuff.
i'm in a band but we've been having bass player issues and its been getting frustrating for me and the other 2 guys i play with. so i watched a dvd pf Pink Floyd - Live at Pompei http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS-tWAUQa4Q&mode=related&search= and was inspired to do an electronic track which i put on my myspace page http://www.myspace.com/herveboisde check out 'the ripening'
