thank you for all the birthday wishes. you guys are so sweet.
i had a pretty wonderful birthday. i thought i had guessed where my friends were taking me to dinner and i was convinced even after we got off of the freeway, but they tricked me! those little rascals. we ended up going to the gingerbread house in oakland. if you ever have a hankering for southern food (gumbo, jambalaya, catfish, etc) i suggest you go there. the atmosphere makes you think you are in some kind of storybook dream. the food was great, the owner was a riot, and we got two free bottles of wine on top of our other bottles. free wine, it doesnt get much better than that. then after dinner we went to one of our dive bars and proceeded to drink the night away. two of my girls got up on the table and did a little dance to madonna....hehe. it was a great nite. and this weekend my birthday continues...my friends are keeping it top secret as well, all i know is that i have to keep the weekend open. i think they are taking me camping, but who knows what they have up their grimy little sleeves.
