Atti ate his first "solid" food yesterday. Some mushed up organic banana, which he really seemed to enjoy. I exclusively breastfed him for six months, and now at 6 months and 24 lbs, I think I made the right choice. I really felt like people were pressuring me to start cereal and solids, but I'm glad I held out, and I'm not feeding him cereal. Period!! People always seem so amazed that I can keep my baby so well nourished by feeding him the way nature intended. Hello, that's what the fun bags are for!
Its amazing and a little bit sad watching him do all these firsts. He's growing up so fast!!! Next thing I know he'll be asking me for the keys to the car.
