Went to see a great local group last night... that is, they were local... then they moved... now they've moved back so I guess they're local again. Anyway, THE GOODIES kick ass! They're kinda this mix of Vaudevillian Rock Opera. Anyway, it's always a fun show and I'm glad they're back. A first show for many friends I dragged along - and they had a blast as well. Always makes people want to dance - regardless of whether they know the music or not. They're also great for everyone in the service industry because they don't start until 11:30 or midnight so people can see them after waiting tables without missing much (or any) of the show. Yeah! It made me happy. Some great covers (In Heaven -Eraserhead soundtrack, The Devil Went Down to Georgia, and, of all things, Rocketman) and some awesome originals.

There used to be a group of locals that got together at Broadways, had drinks and shot pool... I just returned from Africa, and decided for a reunion tour before Miah Left the site...
There are a lot more People near Asheville than there were when I left...
