I have been working like a dog. All kinds of hours 24/7. I get up. I have something to eat. I work. I walk the dog. I work some more. I walk the dog. I work some more. I walk the dog. I work. I walk the dog. Yes, I am very good to my dog. Except when he barks at me when I'm on the phone.
I have been trying to get compromising photos of him but he's very wiley. He does this new thing where he lays down behind the toilet. It's hard to explain but there is space behind the toilet and before the wall and he sort of lies down there and stares at me. I guess that wasn't really hard to explain.
Any way, whenever I pull out the camera he gets up and walks away from there, and comes over to try and lick the camera.
He also does this funny thing when he sleeps where he sticks his tongue out, but just a little bit, between his lips. But again, as soon as he hears the camera, he opens his eyes and pulls his tongue back in.
He loves to burrow. He doesn't have any dirt to burrow in so he likes to burrow in the blankets, or go under my desk, or behind the toilet, any burrow will do. Except perhaps Edqr Rice Burroughs. Ugh. Hate to end on that note. And yet... I must.

yup, the quad cities IS a real place. not a lot of folks have heard of it. more people know the individual cities (rock island and moline in illinois, davenport and bettendorf in iowa) than the entity "quad cities." it's an al right place - better than it deserves to be, given the number of industrial factories that have closed up in recent years.
