Hey Lesa. I'd call in sick or make something up but because I'm an opener and I'll be opening with my boss, it's not going to be possible to call unless I call the night before, which would be during the slumber party. And it won't be very convincing to tell him I'm sick if he hears all of our raucous in the background wink I'll think of something, maybe I can try to switch with someone. Who knows. I'll definitely be there though, just not sure if I'll stay long enough frown Maybe after work I can come back or who knows.

8 Mile: was good. Not great. But really pretty good. I don't know, I spent a lot of time drooling over Eminem and making my male accompaniment, who was from Detroit, giggle at my typically feminine passions for that man.

I ADMIT IT. Eminem makes me wet. Well! He's suuuch a snotty little punk ass. Drives me nuts. And he likes kids. Are they going to kick me out of the League for that infraction? I have Tobey McGuire love too (esp. in Pleasantville).. and a big crush on Ryan Phillipe. So maybe I'm a cheesedick, but at least I'm too old to even BE a teeny bopper so yeah... I digress. 8 Mile was pretty slick. I like rap a lot, so the freestyle battles were hot in my book, I'd an ex in a rap band at some point. That was what made me appreciative of the musical genre. As for the point of 8 Mile, it was a little simple for my tastes. Thought the cinematography was really nice though.
