I went to JoAnn Fabrics today (two different locations!) and bought out every spool of the silver mesh ribbon that I needed to complete the rest of our invitations. I'm so pleased with the way they turned out. They're both elegant, and dramatic, and, as any invitation should do, they really set the tone of the ceremony, and they represent the colors I chose perfectly.

I'm taking my Matron of Honor to high tea at the Huntington Library tomorrow, to thank her in advance for throwing my bridal shower/Mad Tea Party. I'm looking forward to tomorrow. A beautiful, relaxing day, some amazing food and, as always, the most incredible company.

Sunday will be a little less sedate. It's the two-year old nieceling's birthday, so we need to find a gift -- when we will have the time to squeeze that in, I do not know -- then spend the day acting interested in Winnie The Pooh printed 'whatevers', and other two-year old things. Eegads. Perhaps I'll need some tea to drink on the way home from that.
