On the POSITIVE , drama-free side...

Thanks for the congrats and nice words about my last post. If I look good enough in the photos, I'll link to them here.

We got our very first wedding gifts in the mail. We were so curious, we couldn't resist opening them! A friend of my boss - who I talk to from time to time on the phone at work - sent us two, beautiful Italian leather writing journals. They're sized small enough for us to toss into our luggage and take along with us on our honeymoon.

Brian and I agreed to write in our journals at some point of each day of the trip, then exchange them and read each other's thoughts from the journals after the honeymoon, when we come home. I think that will be a lovely ritual. Maybe write in the late afternoons over some wine...

And now for something truly wonderful...

The photographs of this couple are so incredibly moving. They are just beautiful people, and so inspiring. I hope that Brian and I will renew our vows when we're in our seventies. Just read the short paragraph, then scroll through the gallery. I defy you to not sigh...

While I do agree with much of what you said... I do see site management's point. There were people out at Friday night's party who are no longer on the site and have been to other functions that spend a good chunk of their time promoting their competitive venture. I don't know if you've seen it, but it really is there. Not just paranoia. I like those ppl a lot, but I also know that it's probably not appropriate to use something from SG to pitch their upcoming endeavor.

If this is happening, then legal matters should be implemented and quickly so this stuff can be proven and halted. At least that's what I would do. I don't think it's fair to ask the members to pick and choose who their friends are, that's all. I don't want to be forced to choose sides, so I'd just rather not host any parties - *shrug*
