..... I begining to develop a mild annoyance of people saying, "wow you could sale these" when they see my photographs..... I appreciate it because they are meaning it as a compliment, but I am not really interested in trying to sale my pics. I mean if it happens fine but the whole process that I have seen other people go thru reminds me of going door to door trying to sale vacuums....of course my opinion may change when rent is due.

On a completely unrelated point my wife gets to go to Peru with a friend of hers. She is leaving in 2 weeks for a week. She is excited about going to monkey island...she love monkeys. My wife's friend's husband writes surfer books and is going to Peru to do some "research" about the surfing scene in Peru. I am not going which is ok because its going to be a full moon part of the time she is gone and I am going to have some marathon night photography.....

on another completely unrelated note I had forgowtten just how good The Rolling Stones are/were......

if this journal entry seems a little scattered I have been on Vicadin for the past week, not because I have had surgery or anything........ but just because................

thanks for the comment. the sale of photographs... nobody buys here either. i've had my stuff up all over town and rarely sell 'em. oh well. they sure do make great gifts [unless people think they're just being nice by saying they love it?!] biggrin

Art and money share a bed in people's minds much too often. One question I get often is "how much do you make doing this?" Let's see, my last two shots I had a girl laying in a 30 degree creek, and a girl in an old tool shed, haha. So around 80k a year. Hard to tell if it's just conversation material or something else; either way it's a bother and I relate.
