So in honor of Memorial Day...I scanned some old photos taken by or of my Grandfather during WW II...He was a engineer in the 452nd Bombardment Group in US Airforce. Most of these where takin during the bombing campaign over Germany around 1944. This weekend was amazing...went to Marksville Louisiana and attended a weekend long cajun cookout....200Ibs. of crawfish....fresh veggies, drank copious amount of beer and even ate a little bit of pig....and learned that I am pretty good bocce ball player, of course maybe everyone I was playin with was more taanked than me...hard to believe, I know....
