Quick rant about this bullshit:

So I noticed four, yes, FOUR, months ago a bed bug in my bed. The landlord was alerted and hasn't responded until last week. I've done bug bombs in my house, but obviously, I'm not a professional exterminator so problem not solved. Anyway, the landlord informed us that he will not pay to fix the problem, nor help us in any way. Apparently, it's our fault even though the bugs are from a previous infestation that we, a) didn't know about when we signed the lease and b) didn't notice until about a month after we moved in. I've had to throw out my very expensive box spring and mattress, spend money on poison to kill the bugs, which I've been inhaling for over a month (I'm sure it's GREAT for my health!) and I've slept no more than 3 hours a night over the last several months. I keep waking up thinking that they're everywhere. I've been paying rent and have been unable to live in my home I'm paying for. My friends isolate me and I'm unwelcome in anyone's home because of this problem. Obviously, I'll be shelling out the money to exterminate ASAP but it puts me in a bad place should a financial emergency happen. I'm at my wits end with this. I just want it to be over!
