Just got back from Colorado, had a blast skiing. I'm sorry to hear about your friend Dave frown That shit gets me so down too, although I don't have any personal memories like you do. Haven't talked to you in a while, even before my trip...thought I'd say Hi smile I'll have a new entry about the trip soon, but now I'm off camping for the night...gotta live it up while I can smile

Oh, and by the way, I must say both the journal entry and the (maybe) new hair (-your new prof. pic in general-) are hot love
nirrti:
No snowboarding attempts, sadly. I decided that since skiing was cheaper, and I hadn't fully enjoyed skiing yet (this was my second time) that I'd do that again this year. I know I want to try boarding in the future, but I'm not sure when that will be--maybe next year.

How are things with you? Anything new? And I still can't get over your new pic...you need more pics up. Yes, yes, I know I've needed pics up forever, but that should be happening soon.
kiss

I was on the verge of logging an optimistic entry about my restored health, but sadly plans have changed. I just cruised over to picthforkmedia.com, only to discover that former Dead Milkmen bassist Dave Blood was found dead Wednesday. His sister posted a message on the band's official website stating this:

"He left a note that I don't know all of what it said,he was...

frown What a sad journal entry. frown

I was gonna say, as far as boards go, I've always been partial to Sims. Ride has some really good boards too. But that's just 2 brands. There really are a lot of good boards out there, and just as many bad ones. Ask around. Ask your instructor if you still have one. And if you find a good board shop with a decent variety, the salesperson should help show you the difference between inexpensive begginer boards, and flat out cheap boards. Your best bet would be to shop around, and then research the history of the companies of the boards you like. See if they're a fly by night company, or one that really cares about offering a good product. wink hope it helps

Well I'm back in the big shitty now after a week off and I'm as sick as a dog. After a week-end of forcing myself to party under the weather, I really need a good night's sleep. Could still use a good rub down as well! wink

Good Lord, I am absolutely crazy today! I've been alone now for over 24 hours, and I think that's part of the problem. I went out earlier for an hour long walk downtown and picked up a film about Jacques Derrida. I am in desperate need of some sort of intellectual stimulation, it feels like ages since I've exercised my brains. I'm also in a...

I told my teacher that my painting fits the topic because Truman had to cross the bridge to get where he really wants to be, as I would have to cross the golden gate bridge to get to SF, which is where I really want to be...

Foot's still crappy, but it's a lot less crappy then it was last week smile

Just got back from my snowboarding lessons...groan my ass hurts so bloody much. Fell three times on my tailbone today. Thank God my parents just installed a jacuzzi in their house after living there for 18 years. My ass is soooo looking forward to a nice long soak.

Ouchie! Somebody gimme a rub down...

I'll give you a rubdown if you give me snowboarding lessons smile

I'm actually debating whether to ski or board in a couple weeks, but seeing as I'm not even a great skier yet, I'll prolly just stick with that.

I wish I had a jacuzzi...I don't think I'd ever leave the house.
astrokreep23:
snowboarding and a hot tub?!?!?!

Ok, so this entry is a little more coherent than the last one. I don't have too much to add today...except that I'm going snowboarding again in about a week and I cannot wait. The pleasure I derive from it is masochistic really. Wiping out is so painful, but the determination I feel when I'm out there on the slopes is to big to ignore....
