Sorry about your cold and your un-appreciative roommate. My roommate and I got dumped on by our third roommate back in December. However, we have the luxury of splitting our missing rent between the two of us. You have much more of a burden, I'm sure.

And I also hear you about the crazy roommate thing. I might end up living with a friend of my current roommate, but I'm worried he'll be more than a little weird. He could just be awkward and nervous around us, but I just get a weird vibe.

The trip has been fabulous so far. I'm in Vegas right now, and we leave for L.A. in the morning! We still have over a week left, so I'm still very excited. I'll have lots of pics when I'm finally home

It has been too long since I've posted here...I haven't found out how your trip home was, or how awesome the Squarepusher show was...and now it'll be even longer til I can talk again.

I'm finally (after some uncertainties) going on my trip. In less than 24 hours, I'll be in Sante Fe, NM, and enjoying my vacation I love roadtrips and I love the West...I'm so excited!

I will have a good digital camera with me, so I should get good pics...and maybe even some of me! (no, not naked)

I hope things are going well for you, and I hope you find a roommate soon, one that you don't have to awkwardly get to know. I totally wouldn't want to live with some stranger, but I know I may have to again. I didn't know my first roommate in college, but it worked out well. But I don't really like meeting strangers.

Anyways, have a good couple of weeks, enjoy yourself. It's been a few weeks since your latest crazy night out We like to be entertained as much as you do

i totally identify. choosing to be someone's friend is taking on all thier grief as well as your own. it can find ways to heal you or at other times bring you to your knees. it seems like you must be important to each other if he confessed his anxieties to you. the connection that brings is invaluable.

Awww, if I could hold you I would. You might have missed it, but I am such a cuddler...I don't think being held (or holding someone) is ever far from my mind.

And yeah, I totally relate to your self-doubt thing. Like, I have to go look for a job tomorrow, and start studying for finals, and do this and that...and I procrastinate and dread all of it because of doubt. And laziness. Oh well. I hope you get through all your stuff ok.

We're going to Sante Fe, NM; the Grand Canyon; L.A.; Lake Tahoe; and Aspen. I know, it's tons of cool stuff, and yes I'm spoiled. My aunt is loaded and generous, and I also have an easy life, but I can't turn down this trip!

And I can't wait for next Friday either!! I have 5 finals before then, but after, I'm free!! For a couple weeks anyways. Then I'll be a slave to a job (one I need to find ASAP).

Where were you thinking about going? And what do you have to do these next weeks? Is it gonna be hell, or just building anticipation? I hope it's not the former And good luck on whatever you have to do.

I'm glad you were so taken by the story. Although, in all my conceit, it is an awesome fucking story. . .did i say conceit? i mean, "Humbly speaking". HAHA....anyway

Yeah, there's a lot more stories where that came from. . . We (Jock and I) had these things called "The Documents" . . .one for each year of school documenting all of our foolish exploits and bizarre happenings. I'll have to dig them up and leave some chapters up on the boards. My roommate is actually a writer and he's trying to incorporate the documents into a novel to get publish. I'll probably get The Documents when i finally finish cleaning my room. (thats a bigger project than could be expected.)

Oh and as far as the canonization of myself goes. . .i tried to play it down for a while, but then i realized it's true and now i just go with it. . .I guess i'll explain that more later on

mmmmm, that sounds lovely. did you get a chance to get into the wilderness abit? it is soooo refreshing to have experience the power of nature ~ whilst it may not be in response to turmoil, it can still be ever so comforting.

once i climbed a waterfall, and about halfway up i found a groove that fit my body *perfectly*. i lay in the space ~ sort of like a tomb ~ and watched the water cascade down in front of me like a veil between the corporeal and the ephemeral while cool drops occaisionally snaked in to bite me. mmmmmmmm *shiver* i long for such things again soon.
