Hey Kiddies:
My optical mouse on my Mac has gone screwy. I practically have to grind the damn thing into my desktop in order for it to work. Thank Jebus in heaven for my Apple Protection Plan. Extended warranties can be a rip-off, but I'm so glad I invested in one for my G4. I bought this unit almost two years ago, and within that time I had to send it back once to replace the power supply which would have cost me close to $600 Canadian without the warranty. I phoned the kind peeps at Apple Care earlier this evening, and they will be sending a new mouse in exchange for my tired old one within the next few days. So if I don't get around to posting in your journals, my apologies. Unfortunately, pages filled with hot naked girls are not permitted at work!
The week-end back home went fairly well. My parents' new home is gorgeous, everything smells so new and clean. I was pretty frazzled from big city mania on the way back from T.O. Saturday. When I finally pulled into the driveway of the new country home to hear nothing but gentle wind and the sweet chirping of birds, I felt like I was in heaven. I had the fortune of spotting a beautiful blue heron resting at a nearby pond. My mom saw a little fawn curiously scoping the boundaries of the backyard. I love feathery and furry critters!
