I've waited ages for this moment in my life to come. Now that it's here, I'm absolutely terrified. My seven year old student bubble has burst, and now I'm facing the real world. I finished my program this past Thursday which for the most part, is a big relief. I start a month-long internship tomorrow which carries no promise of long term employment. I've worked throughout my post-secondary career to pay for school, but now that I'm done the pressure to find employment outside of the industrial arena (which is what I'm used to) in order to pursue that elusive career is frightening. Thinking about the negative possibilities literally leaves me winded at times. Jesus...
And in other news...
I got my hair professionally cut and dyed for the first time in over a year. Instead of the stark two-tone fuschia/fire engine red and brown, I'm now plum with Vampire red highlights which actually gives my hair more depth. It will be very easy to maintain on my own, I just love it!
The Pride footage I cut for my final assignment will be aired at the National Film Board of Canada next Friday! A screening is being held to showcase the best graduate work from my program. Some important industry people will be attending, which means I have to get my schmooze on and my lips puckered for some serious ass kissing!
I wish there was a bumb icon I could insert here.
Love you all!
