He was in town for only 2 1/2 days and we never met. Apparently he was camping out in a parking lot in someone's van at Queen and Bathurst. After five days of wondering where he was, I finally managed to get a hold of him earlier today! Albeit brief, I was completely thrilled to have a live conversation with him. He has such a killer accent. He left a message on my machine earlier today and as psychotic as it may sound (and I swear to you I'm not crazy in any harmful way) I think I'm gonna play it again tonight before I hit the sheets. "Ah what a pisser...what a pisser" was repeated several times over. LOL!
He'll be in Chicago soon, and I'm trying to figure out if I can skip town for a day or two to meet him there. Here's hoping...
And in other news:
I saw Goodbye Lenin tonight. It's about a guy and his sister who strive to keep information about the fall of the Berlin Wall from their leftist mother who awakens from an 8 month long coma and is highly vulnerable to over-excitement. It's quite a charming film, go see it!
My left hand smells like it was immeresed in a barrel of garam masala. I made tofu mattar tonight and it was deeeeeeeee-lish!
An ex of mine sent me pictures of herself from Japan yesterday. When I first met her, she was very slender and toned from the karate she regularily practiced. She eventually got a beautiful Japenese Dragon tattooed on her right bumb cheek. Months after we started hanging out she met a guy (boooooooooooooo!) and although we weren't together for very long at all, I felt slighted when she pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth, only to call me months later telling me she had someone new in her life.
It is with tremendous glee that the photos she recently sent reveal a "beefier" version of the woman I was once smitten with. She isn't large by any means, but she must have put on at least 20 extra pounds since she's been in Japan. I know I'm a horrible, superficial cow for laughing at her weight gain, but she always had an air of pretention about her that just smacked of "everyone look at me, I'm so damn hot!"
I wonder what that dragon looks like now?

bonjour miss gorgeous ~ ohhhh, man, will you have fun! i think it is totally worth is to miss class. i spoke with joey for literally two minutes last night (he was on a train) and godDAMN does he have a sexy voice! so you two have a good time
