Back to the routine, battling a cold, still looking for a new room-mate, old room-mate left yesterday so now I'm alone in this big apartment and it feels very strange without her...or anyone for that matter.
Showed the place to one woman today, and not gonna lie to you, she was a bit strange. She's one of those people who seem friendly enough, though she's very hyperactive in what I think could be a potentially invasive sort of way. Bullocks...I really need someone. Part of me wants her to call back, but the realistic side of me knows she'll get on my tits fast. What's upsetting me the most right now is knowing that my room-mate who walked out of this lease about 5 months early for her own pursuits dumped 100% of the responsibility for finding someone else onto my shoulders, and I have recieved no help at all. I feel used and under-appreciated. It blows.

Sorry about your cold and your un-appreciative roommate. My roommate and I got dumped on by our third roommate back in December. However, we have the luxury of splitting our missing rent between the two of us. You have much more of a burden, I'm sure.
And I also hear you about the crazy roommate thing. I might end up living with a friend of my current roommate, but I'm worried he'll be more than a little weird. He could just be awkward and nervous around us, but I just get a weird vibe.
The trip has been fabulous so far. I'm in Vegas right now, and we leave for L.A. in the morning! We still have over a week left, so I'm still very excited. I'll have lots of pics when I'm finally home
