Just got back from a full day of footie action here in T.O, and lemme tell you, it's been one hell of a celebration. Went to the Mod Club to catch the last 45 minutes of the game, then spilled out onto the streets of College with the rest of my paesani. We later followed everyone up to St. Claire West for the ultimate party, and I've never seen anything quite like it in this city before. Nothing but a sea of blue-jersied bodies and Italian flags everywhere. It was insane.
Alas, I am totally beat and must rest, but I couldn't go to bed without writing about Italy's first world cup victory since 1982. VIVA ITALIA!
