I don't know enough about your connection to Venice (Italy, right?) to offer any advice at all. Moving to a new country to get your career started is a completely huge big mother fucking deal. Trust me. I don't know people who can do it on a whim, and it means staying long enough (indefinitely) to really entrench yourself into some rad production company. All that aside, Venice is fucking rad and I'd probably go.
