Jackie just got into MIT for her graduate work on circuits. She didn't even want to apply, but I knew she deserved to be there. After she told me she got in, she thanked me for the advice I gave her; it made me want to cry. Don't get me wrong. I'm very proud of her and happy for her. It's just the news reminded me of my ambitions that far exceeded my ability, and that'll always a tough one for me.

Funny thing though, Thy told me Yoyo got picked up by Microsoft for an interview. Thy was very jealous and catty, but it didn't phase me. I think it's because Jackie really loves what she does. She loves it like how I loved it. Yoyo never loved electrical engineering. She knew it would make her money, but she actually wanted to do interior decorating.
