Yesterday was fun, long journey to Southampton and all but was a good day out. There must be something in the air down there cos me and Jakeways were acting like we were drunk on the way back.
One shocking moment was when we went into a 'bar' (I use that term losely, room with beer would be more apt) that was meant for away fans. We had a drink and about 30 people started making racist chants against every black player, even though Everton have a few black players themselves. I was genuinely shocked that this kind of behaviour still happened so openly in public. We left the place sharply after that.
