Met up with Ruthie last night straight after work, ain't saw her since Dec 23rd. Amz and Daz were running late so we went for something to eat and I just enjoyed talking to her so much, I'd forgotten how much fun she is to talk to. We always seem to get on immensely when it's just me and her then it seems to degenerate when we are around other people. I swear she gets hotter every time I see her too.
I felt totally uncomfortable all night though being as I was in my work clothes, shirt, trousers and really uncomfortable Doc Marten's aren't really the way forward. Felt out of place when we went to a rock club too, didn't stop me from getting wasted and dancing like a fool though. Not very often you hear Metallica, SOAD, Offspring, Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, Finch, Funeral For A Friend, At The Drive In, Muse, The Darkness, Jane's Addiction, Outkast, Slayer, The White Stripes, The Blues Brothers and Guns N Roses in the same night.... Well OK it is, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Only got 3 hours sleep though cos I didn't get back from there until 3am, had to get up for work at 6. It was a fun day at the office. Thank God it was dress down day so I had a reason to look like shit. I hadn't been to that club for years, wouldn't mind going again. Was muy fun. Didn't seem like we were in there for 4 hours. I normally get bored on nights out so it was a good surprise that I was loving it.
I shouldn't have really been drinking though being as I'm on antibiotics. I don't seem to have suffered any side effects though so it's all shibby.
I've got a present to look forward to off of Ruth, it's bound to be cool being as she picked it.
