I went so fast my eyes watered.
Last night was full of longboard fun. I found one good thing about Kelowna; lots of rich people who have suburbs built with nice smooth hills on which to ride. Some buddies of mine from high school and I all went out and drove around looking for spots to board. I had a hell of a time.
It looks like my last days in Kelowna are fast approaching. Which is making me both relieved and sad. This place has a tendency to make me uncomfortable. Being at home again is easy on the basic human comforts (full fridge, air conditioning, etc.) but it feels so strange to live in my parents house again. I'm sad to go though. I still have business here I'm leaving unfinished. I was going to see a good friend of mine one more time before I left, but the world tipped on its side and I won't have a chance. I hate the feeling that we didn't get to talk about all the things I wanted to. We'd been looking forward to getting together for so long, it really hurts to have that taken away. At any rate, there's still more trip ahead.
On Saturday, the "more SG' leg of my trip starts. Victoria is looking sketchy (unless we can get picked up at the ferry). But Vancouver is a go. I want to meet some hip people there, so anyone willing to hang out with me and Lotus better make themselves known. Email one of us and we'll sort something out.
