I got a card in the mail yesterday from my dear friend Katie. Inside the card, in ransom note style cut out letters, it said "Will you my matron of honor?" Yes, she forgot the "be". Didn't matter though because I immediately started screeching with delight and ran into the office where Micah was to tell him.
Katie got engaged a couple of weeks ago and she had told me at the time that she was just going to have her future sister-in-law as a bridesmaid and that was it. I told her I thought it was nice not to have a big bridal party (I only had my brother as my "Man of Honor"). Well, she really pulled the wool over my eyes because I did not see this coming. I'm so honored!
However, I hate the word Matron. I'm married, not elderly!
My brother as Man of Honor. Look how cute! Yes, he's holding my bouquet.
