I miss university. Back in the good ol' days when we used to crash cars on purpose and have sex in them for fun.

Thanks Mr. Cronenberg & Mr. Ballard for the inspiration.

That is so different from my own university experience; we used to have sex on purpose and crash cars for fun.

I want those along with the sort of apartment that would do them justice.

Aww thank you. I DID take those photos after I'd recovered though!

I hope you're making progress on your weight loss and writing and impossible things before breakfast. wink

Congrats on the 101 books!

With the risk of sounding like I'm full of complete hippy bullshit I did have at least drug induced realization at Burning Man (over and above the fact the the soft tickle of a cape on the back of your calves when you're walking super high through the neon-coated desert feels glorious)..

I'm not quite sure how to put it. I think ultimately the...

I love drug-induced realisations. Saw this. Thought you'd like to see it. smile
hyatt:
Aahhh. If only I could. I'd love to get back up to Canada - so, so much! I'll be back there one day. Mark my words!

Have you ever read something that so encapsulated some part of yourself that you were literally dumbstruck in front of a rapidly cooling cup of coffee? I did at lunch today.

That is an odd, strangely hilarious and worrisome combination.

I ma not being at all flippant when I say this but I feel like someone has looked into the very essence of my being whenever I read the words "Hulk smash!"

So I achieved my reading goal for the year 101 books! Not that I'm going to stop reading, but it feels nice to achieve early. My next goals are going to involve word counts and kgs. Here's what I read...

Dr. Haha Lung? That made my day. I need to find the Max Ernst one.

That is like 1 book every 2 days, and I'm impressed. Some of mine take a week for 1 chapter, and then I'm still shuffling note cards for days.

Will '101 Damntastic Book Reviews' be showing up on one of your sites soon?
jonnytrrrash7:
Impressed by the list and your voracious reading ability. i loved that John Waters book! really want to read those George R.R. Martin books. i'm almost finished with the Keith Richards autobiography. it seems i can only handle reading music books, and not very deep ones at that.

Things I feel like doing right now:

a) having a deep discussion about Buddhism
b) cutting off someone's clothes with a knife
c) drinking whiskey
d) a, b, & c
d23:
I'm just on b for now...
shandyowl:
I would surmise that if you do enough c), a) & b) will just follow naturally.
