The last week and a bit has been fairly hectic.

Lotus and her boyfriend were crashing with me for almost a whole week. We had Persian breakfast, movie nights, nights on the town, and a lot of shits and giggles. The last night was TaBURNak, the big Burning Man decompression party in Griffintown. There was fire performers, circus silk acts, dance offs, a giant sandy space indoors with tents, open bar, lots of weed, cute girls running around, costumes. I was wearing a leopard print jacket and generally making mayhem. Didn't get home until 7:10 am.

Sunday daytime was a after-party/pancake party where a variety of partiers and friends hit my place to load up on the sweet pancake goodness, coffee, et al. Got a line on a cool sounding job. Should be writing up my cover letter for that now actually. After the pancake party I had a nice date with coffee, beer, and general wandering. It was nice, but also went quite late. 7 hours of sleep in 2 nights, complete with drinking and exercise meant that I woke up Monday morning very tired and with vague cold symptoms.

Since then I've been laying low, trying to keep things up with the blog and preparing for the epic challenges of Halloween and NaNoWriMo.
