Now in Lemonkid news... the sad.. the exciting.. the indifferent..
- My Uncle Bob died yesterday. It's no surprise since he's been a terrible alcoholic since before I was even born. Very rough on my mother and grandparents though. There isn't going to be a service, so I won't be returning to BC for that.
- My birthday is coming up next week. So far I've got 2 presents in the mail and I'm putting together some activities for that weekend including a birthday dinner, laser tag possibly, a Luchador themed pancake party, etc. I like my birthday.. birthdays should be used for wild and wonderful purposes. Shame and modesty on birthdays is a quality I find.. disappointing.
- Friday night I went with an ex-gf to the roller derby block party. Some other women I've dated were there. We drank, we dance, I pushed her to the fore to answer a trivia question and she won a flask - something she'd been wanting to purchase early in the day. It was bouncey bubblegum destiny. I need some money for skates so I can join the men's team.
- I've been reading Sebastian Horlsey's "Dandy in the Underworld" - which is lovely in its decadence and blasphemy. My dandyism doesn't have quite the same ardour for self-destruction, but it doesn't have the wealth either.
- Been doing on a lot of dates, but I haven't met anyone I've liked recently. I guess I'm just more and more picky as time goes on. Never thought I'd say "too nerdy" or "too intellectual" before but.. there you go.

and on your lack of luck in the dating scene. It's certainly never seemed easy to me to find someone I liked either...
