There are quiet moments, even when they're not quiet, late at night, moments when your brainwaves achieve a certain vibrancy, a frequency of long cool tones, that intermingle with the earth's magnetic resonance, salting your thoughts into the ionosphere.

It's difficult to describe, but you feel like that with naked eyes you could stare at the pale skin of the moon - an ocular sonogram with which you could traces its internal passageways of ossified cheese, a labyrinth of vacuum and moondust.
You sit quietly and know that you're not bereft of wonder, that you want to commit treasonous acts of love, that you want to stand tall, cross swords, make pithy retorts, with a booted foot on the rail and the occasional burst of briny spray keeping you fresh.
Still that all doesn't feel quite right. I want to find an abandoned lake, drink red wine from the bottle by a fire, and listen to the sounds of the loons.
