I definatly have a case of buyers remorse today. After getting my hair done, yet again (the last hairdresser seriously fucked up), and getting a darling set of talons for my pinkies, the credit card has completly maxed out. I seriously need to start looking for a job! Even though I have only been living in my new place for two weeks, the thought of eating beans on toast for the next fortnight is far from appealing. I blame Alicia Silverstone in Clueless, she started me on this never ending spend cycle.

My new hairdresser is fab though. Overtly gay, and kitch from his head down to his toes. He also has a Parson Russell, who follows him around the salon. So cool, makes me wish I could bring my dog to work.

Sorry, I'm rambling, but then I have had the most incredible sugar rush from Thorntons. I was just passing by, and they have the cutest shop assistant - who has introduced me to the delights of the "catalana" - choccies to die for!

Feeling very girly today, what with being pampered and gorging myself on chocolate. Makes a nice change from the usual mess I seem to be. Have been working so hard over the past few days making my husband's grandmothers birthday present. She only wanted handmade things this year - if I had had more time I would have got her the moon on the stick - demanding!! Still, she now has two handmade lavender candles, handcrafted by my own fair hands. I never want to see a candle again, it's not as easy as you might think!
