I'm getting a little disillusioned with my job. Most of the kids don't respect me. I mean, they just don't listen to me, but will gladly listen to the other counselors. What am I doing wrong? I just feel like I'm a glorified babysitter(well I guess I am) and that this really sucks. I try to tell the kids that I know they don't want to be in daycare, but it is their parents wish, so please don't take it out on me. But they don't seem to care. And most of the parents can't control their own kids and I have to deal with the repercusions.
