I hated waking up for work today, it seemed so wrong, i was tired and depressed, i had to start on this machine that ive been dreading and putting off for awhile, and because a lot of other companies are closed for the week, Jim will be in the shop all week (Jim is THAT person at work) .

When i get to work (late) jim is leaving. he has some quick job at one of the few places that are open. (temporary reprive!) I start into the dreaded machine, I realize we've rebuilt this machien a few years ago already, and I find one small easily correctable thing that uncorrected would make the machine seem as if it was old and needed rebuilding.
i fix the thing and talk to my boss about what other projects i should get into since i was planning on doing that for the next few weeks, he mentions in passing that if i want to take any days off this week it wouldnt be a problem , i check my bank account and my vacation days and decide the week is mine, Im taking it back.

So now im free until Tuesday. and this week(end) seems full of possibilities (and extra sleep too).
