... just2 say that to those of you who read my page, i'm leaving this thing.
i've ummed and ahhed about being an SG for about 2 or more years now, and i got accepted onto this site a while back, after applying in a deluded daze.
however i still can't quite bring myself to agree with the fact that to be accepted as one of the SG's on here you HAVE to take your clothes off.
don't get me wrong i have no problem with that,( and you may ask, 'so whats your problem?') but the fact that you HAVE to means that this site is exploiting, not liberating these women.
yes i agree whole heartedly that the media is full of the sterotypical image of 'beauty' and that it is refreshing and important to celebrate the many other unusual takes on this word. but i don't believe that you should 'have' to get naked in order to be accepted into this world.
why can't women be just as strong, sexual and confident with their clothes on? if they choose to take their clothes off then great..all power to them. but on this site, they have no choice.
ultimately of course this decision is up to the girl, and if it isn't a big deal to her, then fair enough.
but for me i'm afraid it is, and i feel that if i were to go through with this and become an SG, i would be going against something i think is wrong.
if you don't agree with me then thats cool, this is only my opinion, its just something i needed to get off my chest.

Thinking about it, you're quite right. I never realised it was a complete and utter prerequisite to being an SG that you have to get completely and utterly naked, i thought it was kinda down to underwear minimum. hmm. Makes you re-think things a bit. I think I might cancel my membership actually, never realised it was actual exploitation.
