Things are ticking along. Not done much of significance since my last update, but I thought I'd post something so you know I'm still alive.
Been looking at postgrad courses in the US this evening; the idea being that I could move closer to Amanda and see if anything will happen between us. On the plus side, I've found quite a few courses I could get into; on the down side, I'm not sure I've got what it takes to do a masters-- the course descriptions sound really hard. There are lots of complications with my plan and it may very well not work. It is still my best plan at the moment though; if it doesn't work, I don't think anything ever will, short of some kind of miracle.
Got quite some time until that becomes something worth stressing about, though- I might have met someone else by Christmas and the whole thing would be unecessary fretting, so I'm trying to stay cool about it.
The sun's still shining. Having a corridor bbq party on Friday, complete with freshly made homebrew- hopefully I'll still have my eyesight by Saturday morning...
