A few things stressing me out at the moment, but I'm generally feeling happy. I think this is because I know the things that are stressing me are under control even if they're not how I'd like them to be.
In 9 days I'll be on the way home on the first stretch of my trek to AZ. I'm really looking forward to seeing my friends, getting some sunshine and hopefully a full-on holiday. I can't remember the last time I had one of them... I'm talking like 8 years, seriously.
It may not be very comfortable 'cos my Dear has asked me not to hit on her, and I understand her reasons why, so of course I'll respect that, but it's not what I'd like to be doing... It's still going to be good, though, I know.
Got sent a copy of "Tourist" by Athlete and an Elliott Smith album yesterday. Not mad keen on the Elliott Smith cd, and I can't decide on Tourist. I think I need to listen to it a few times to get into it- to test this theory, I've put it on repeat at the moment. I can't decide what I think of the slightly off-kilter way the singer slides into notes- it's like a slightly drunken Chris Martin (Coldplay) idea. Any thoughts?
Today is Fettisdagen in Sweden, which literally means "Fatty Day", not as an adjective as in "Mardi Gras", but more in the "Oi, Fatty!" sense. This has made me chuckle for a week.
Instead of pancakes, they cook these cakes called Semlor which are like cream buns/doughnuts. They're very nice, but they tend to be about 3 inches tall, which makes them quite hard to eat without squeezing all the cream out of the middle.
Any jokes about squeezing cream out of 3-inchers will be frowned upon.

Wow 8 years is a long time to go without a holiday.
I'm not really big into Elliot Smith. Or Coldplay.
So what you're saying is that you like to squeeze 3 inchers until crea...haha J/K
