I spoke to an old SG member a couple of days ago and she told me how she'd had sex with an ex (cheating on her current guy) and done some coke at the weekend. I think she quite enjoyed the coke but felt awful about the cheating and was trying to straighten things out. Fortunately for her, even though her boyf was really hurt, he was forgiving and it might turn out ok for her eventually.

Somewhere between talking to her and finishing "Scar Tissue", Anthony Kiedis' autobiography, which, it turns out, is basically a warning against drugs, I'm starting to feel a bit more settled and a bit less reckless. Wasn't really considering drugs too seriously, but I think it was kinda symbolic of a whole lifestyle which I was interested in but should probably stay away from.

Still planning on heading over to Phoenix, though. Decided to go at the end of Feb, after my beloved gets back from seeing her ex, and it just remains to book some tickets. Gonna probably leave it till Saturday, though, to give myself a chance to think things over and make sure I'm not being a div.

Oh, random cool thing today- went into the International Office at my uni here in Sweden and had a 5 minute conversation with the girl behind the desk, who didn't realise until I actually told her that I wasn't Swedish... Looks like I've got something out of being here for 5 months, anyway...
