It's Steph's 21st tomorrow.

I planned for most of the summer to go over to Carolina and to give her my virginity as a present. Needless to say I'm quite glad I won't now.

I think it says a lot that I haven't bought her a present because I don't actually know what she likes apart from sex and alcohol...

Give me a W.... Give me a T.... Give me an F...

I think books and country music are in there somewhere... Troy Aiken or something? Wait, no, Troy Aikman was the Cowboys' quaterback...
We were from different worlds, but that was part of the attraction. Me and Steph, not me and Troy Aikman.

I'm feeling reckless today. I think it's just a mood I'm in this afternoon, but I feel like purging my life of a lot of things. Not all of them are bad for me; some of them I just think they've run their course. I'm pretty sure I'll wake up tomorrow and run back to them with everything I have, but in the meantime...

In other news, do you ever find you listen to a piece of music for like the 100th time or something and just for a moment it connects with you and it just makes you want to thrash around the room in excitement?
Just listened to a live version of Don't Forget Me by the Chili's- by no means a favourite song, but just for a moment I got lost in the groove. Beautiful.

i know what you mean about pricey pedals: Denmark Street is full of them. I could spend my whole student loan there.
And as for the song: i see what yo mean. So i reckon that for me it had to be "Tales Of A Scorched Earth" by The Smashing Pumpkins. Once it really got me when one of the guitars came in ( he was using a Big Cheese if you know what one of those are)
