More nakedness. (Baring my soul, perv!)
It suddenly struck me the other day that people often don't write the truth in their profiles, 'cos it's not funny or cool. Well, I find it interesting to know the truth about people, so I thought I'd start a trend by sharing what my real answers are- post yours in your journal too if you like the idea.
MEMBER SINCE: June 2003-- I joined for the summer, then left when I went back to university. I rejoined when SG were offering a ridiculously cheap offer in May and I'm paid up here until next May at least. Some of the girls are really hot, but not enough to keep me here; I stick around here because I love the community and the friends I've made here.
AGE: 22 (Feb 04, 1982)-- Yes, this is true
GENDER: Male-- as is this
LOCATION: Sweden-- I'm currently studying in Lund, Sweden for the year. I'm not from Sweden or Swedish at all.
HOMETOWN: london-- This is close enough to the truth- I live in Croydon, a town on the edge of London, but I spend enough time running around the city when I'm home that a general "London" is true enough.
SIGN: gller ej moped-- essentially means "no mopeds" (on a cyclepath, for example) in Swedish. I'm an Aquarius, but I don't believe in Astrology. I do believe that your first experiences shape your view of the world, so the season you're born in might shape you, but not the stars from day to day.
OCCUPATION: languages student-- I study Italian, Swedish and French at the University of Hull, England, when I'm not in Sweden.
STATS: 5'5 and handsome-- Ok, maybe 5'4- it depends on my shoes and how secure I'm feeling that day. To be honest I don't think I'm that handsome (I don't hate myself; I just don't like my looks), but you have to sell yourself, eh?
BODY MODS: none. I've considered all kinds of things, but I'm quite fickle in my tastes and I want to be sure that I won't change my mind on something so permanent. I have ideas at the moment, but I need to find the right designs, etc.

FAVORITE BOOKS: clockworkorange. highfidelity.-- ok, I only read when I'm completely bored and have nothing else to do. I quite enjoy it, but I never think to do it unless I'm at a complete loose end. Or if I'm trying to impress someone.
I haven't actually read High Fidelity; I read the first few chapters and then watched the film. I meant to finishing reading it after I put it in my profile, but I never did. I read Clockword Orange at school, and I prefered it to the subsequent film.
The only other notable book I've read is Wuthering Heights, which I thought was massively over-rated.
FAVORITE TV SHOWS: anything with live music on it. family guy.-- These are true. I might also add Ally McBeal, Friends and the Simpsons too if I liked them a little more and if they were "cool" on here.
FAVORITE ARTISTS: chagall. monet. gaugin.-- I am only just starting to learn about art and these are 3 of the few artists I know. I've been inspired by a friend who studies art history, but I've always had a basic interest in art which I never explored at school because I can't draw.
VICES: haribo. beer. music. internet. flirting.-- I know this because the day I split up with my last gf, I had none of these and I wanted to die.
CURRENT CRUSH: let's not go there, eh?-- I am still sorting my head out after splitting up with the above-mentioned gf. I'm telling myself I'm looking for the absolute definite One. This is true and it also makes me feel more comfortable about my life at the moment.
INTO: rockin. drinkin. writin songs. chattin online. films. chillin. ice cream. bein happy.-- amen
MOST HUMBLING MOMENT: every day since the start of september-- this is basically true too. The time I've spent in Sweden has humbled me in many different ways, often to do with my misunderstanding Swedish or people misunderstanding my Swedish. I don't really know how, but I'm sure this will make me a stronger person in time.
5 ITEMS I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT: toothbrush, CDs, mobilephone, goodshoes, pillow-- Without the above vices, I realised in September that this is all I need.
I LOST MY VIRGINITY: ...1000 times in my head.-- a lyric stolen from Weezer. I am still a virgin. I'm quite happy with this, as I want my first time to mean something to the lady in question.
FAVORITE SEXUAL POSITION: Obviously, I don't have one.
FANTASY: the prince and the princess living happily ever after-- Yeah, that's pretty true- my biggest dream at the moment I wrote this, at least, was to be with someone that made me happy and someone I make happy too.
