I'm feeling a lot better today- the sun is shining, I seem to be doing well at French, I think 2 seperate girls are trying to get my attention, and Mum and Dad have ordered me a new computer from Dell. Oh, and I got a reasonable quality of sleep last night. Quality, because invariably I sleep for about 8 hours here, but everytime I move I seem to wake up, which isn't very restful.
The computer's supposed to arrive the day I booked a plane ticket to go back to Sweden, so if I stick around in England for more than 5 days, I might get the computer before Christmas... I've kinda got used to not having it now, though, so I don't expect that will figure too highly in my thinking.
I've started to do a little bit of exercise too- nothing complicated; just enough to make a difference and burn off some of last week's beer gut- it started as a way to release a bit of stress, but I'm pleased with both the way my bod is starting to look and also the slightly stiff feeling the next day that reminds me it's doing me good. I'm not sure it's energetic enough that I'm getting "runner's high" or whatever you call it, but I couldn't rule out the possibility that it's contributing to me feeling happier.
I'm trying to decide whether what I see in the mirror is dependant on my mood- sometimes I see a fairly wimpy shadow looking back at me but yesterday I saw a tight young man... I don't know what that means.
Oh, and I just had the worst coffee ever- it was less instant coffee, so much as coffee flavoured water. Maybe the nuclear temperature they dispense it at has a negative effect on the quality of the beverage. It definitely has a negative effect on the tip of my tongue.
